"The Alam Shah rugby team is also a hallmark of excellence for the school. Labelled as one of the giants in Malaysia, some of their players also represent the Malaysian rugby team. Many school players go on to play professionally in local rugby teams, and also play for the Alumni SAS (ASAS) rugby team which is one of the respectable rugby teams in Malaysia"
